Welcome to Biddulph High School – An Outstanding Academy
New Ofsted Report for
Biddulph High School
Biddulph High School is a 13-19 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 835 students on roll including 230 students in our Sixth Form. We are a truly inclusive School, welcoming students of all abilities and backgrounds. We believe that we all benefit from learning together in a community which values respect, nurtures talent and always aims for the highest standards in everything that we do.
Our academic standards are high, comparing well with both national and county averages. However, we believe that education is not merely about examination results, and we are committed to a broad and balanced learning experience for every student. We provide an enriched curriculum including trips and visits, opportunities for performance through concerts and shows, for achievement through sport, and for citizenship through involvement in a wide range of community based activities. Our House system reinforces our ethos of participation and our strong pastoral team ensures that ‘Every Child Matters’ at our school.
We strongly believe that our School is a community which succeeds through strong partnerships. One of the many strengths of our School is the relationships between students, teachers and parents. Our staff are outstanding and as a result of this, behaviour is excellent and the school goes from strength to strength, year on year.
We are proud of our students and are delighted to celebrate their successes and achievements whenever possible: their strengths are the School’s strengths.
